Inshore Fishing Report

The best part about where we are located is that when weather conditions don’t allow us to venture offshore, or if it’s your choice not to, we have the often calm and protected, inshore waters of world famous Clayoquot Sound right here in our backyard to fish. Migrating salmon will chase abundant schools of baitfish throughout the inlets along the way to their natal rivers, creating an ideal setting for this exciting type of fishery. We can also jig for Rockfish and Lingcod on the inside waters, making for a fun fight on the light tackle gear!
Your day starts with the setting of a crab trap, followed by a scenic cruise through the sound en route to the fishing spot, stopping for any marine wildlife we may encounter. This tour is great for all ages and still provides fantastic fishing opportunities for those prone to motion sickness. Full day and Half day trips are available – Combine them with a visit to the hot springs, whale watching or bear watching for the ultimate marine adventure!
